Three women forming a heart in an arch

Slumber Party Retreat

When’s the last time you had space to play without feeling like you had to be productive? Or to connect with others where the emphasis wasn’t on performance?

As women, we are often asked to take care of other people’s emotional and physical needs. When’s the last time you had a weekend away where someone else took care of YOU?

This isn’t a weekend where you’re going to learn how to become a better version of yourself — it’s about remembering the version of yourself that could be spontaneous, silly, and fun.

A woman’s weekend to rest, play, and belong.

Why this Retreat?

There are a lot of retreat spaces where you could get personal enrichment, business networking opportunities, learn a particular skill, or focus on healing a part of your life that feels damaged.

This isn’t that retreat. This is a retreat for slowing down, to put your phone or laptop away, to cut loose from having to produce, or even dig in deep emotionally.

Melissa and Jacqui listen to women every day who talk about how successful they are but feel like they have to do it all, that relaxation has to be productive in order to be enjoyed, and who long for friendship but even that gets lost in all of the mental, physical, and emotional load they carry.

This leaves them tired, burnt out, and lonely. Maybe that feels familiar to you?

Don’t you long to return to the parts of yourself that knew how to play? Don’t you wish you could stop holding it all together and just be?

Meet The Team!

Jacqui Nelson

Jacqui Nelson, MA, LMHC is a relational therapist to her core. She works from the premise that we are harmed in relationship and we heal in relationship. From that space she invites people to dive deeper into their stories, to make sense of what has shaped them, to connect more deeply with self and others, and to find healing from trauma that so often occurs when we’re harmed by others.

Jacqui not only works with people in one-on-one therapy, but also in group settings. She believes the power of connection comes in the collective gathering of others where we can learn to show up authentically, honestly, and in our own particularity.

She’s a wine lover, a powerlifter, pizza eater, loves traveling, and a dog mom.

Woman in a forest

Melissa Roloff

Melissa Roloff, LMHC, LCPC, Reiki Practitioner, is a holistic therapist and energy worker devoted to creating spaces where people can soften, reconnect, and remember themselves outside of productivity and performance.

Her work blends clinical mental health care with intuitive, somatic, and ritual based practices. Drawing from psychotherapy, Reiki, mindfulness, storytelling, and nervous system regulation, Melissa creates experiences that feel both deeply supportive and refreshingly human.

Melissa is especially passionate about offering spaces that invite a return to play, rest, and relational connection. These are the parts of ourselves that often get lost under responsibility, caretaking, and survival. Her work is intentionally gentle and welcoming, meeting people exactly as they are without pressure to fix or transform anything.

She holds space with warmth, humor, and grounded presence. Melissa believes healing happens not only through insight, but through shared stories, stillness, connection, and being witnessed in community.

Chef Oscar Nelson

Chef Oscar Nelson grew up in North Spokane in Mead, WA. As a true artist, he was often found working with wood, metal, or food. He was encouraged by an art teacher to attend college to pursue art which propelled him to attend Eastern Washington University and complete a Bachelors in Fine Arts.

This led Oscar to becoming a graphic designer and project manager. While he enjoys the work he does, his real passion is creating exceptional food. You can find him in the kitchen working on a new recipe or trying one out by a chef he feels inspired by.

This last year he opened his first food truck, Just the Wurst Food Truck, which serves craft-made bratwursts. He creates every spice blend, makes the sausage, and comes up with unique toppings for each one. His greatest desire is to create an unforgettable experience with his cuisine.
