Attachment or Relational Issues
Attachment is everything when it comes to how we show up in relationships, how we do conflict (or don’t), and whether or not those relationships feel connected and secure.
Attachment wounds often come from homes where love was inconsistent, unpredictable, or conditional. As adults, this might look like difficulty trusting, people-pleasing, shutting down in conflict, or feeling anxious in closeness.
Other times, childhood brings with it difficult of traumatic experiences that shape our adult lives.
Childhood trauma doesn’t only mean “big” events — it can also be the quiet moments when your feelings were dismissed, your needs went unmet, or that you had to grow up too quickly. These early experiences shape how you see yourself and how you relate to others.
